To Provide a Happy and Safe Stimulation Environment in Which Our Children Can Develop & Grow to Fulfil Their Individual Potentials

Little Acorns Montessori School is set in extensive grounds where a true Children's House has been created. The highest quality furnishings and equipment have been chosen with the needs and interests of the children in mind. Children are taught on a one-to-one basis in a prepared environment.

We aim to offer an authentic Montessori education based on the principles and methods of Dr Montessori. Certified Montessori Teachers trained in the highest quality of Montessori; observing, following the child and working at their own pace.

Our school is an Accredited Montessori School by Montessori Education (UK) Ltd, a body formed by three independent Montessori training colleges to raise and harmonise the standards in Montessori training and practice. Established in 1984. We are registered with the Hertfordshire County Council. We have over 60 children in the school, a mixture of boys and girls from the ages of 12 months to 6 years. The school offers music, dance, French and cookery. We have a high staff/children ratio.

We are located in the Lincolnsfield Centre with access to one of the largest safe Greenfield sites in the Hertfordshire area. The children are able to use daily indoor and outdoor facilities.
We practise the Montessori approach and observe each individual child’s development and learning.

We use the school’s website for the class teachers to send out a newsletter at the beginning of each term to generally keep parents informed about the term ahead.
